Hironori Yoshida

Hiro is a PhD student at the Chair of CAAD developing fabrication tools adapting for heterogeneous materials, such as tooling wood by reading wood grains. He studied material engineering at Waseda University in Japan and researched tangible media interaction at CoDe Lab and dFab both in Carnegie Mellon University in the States.

Hiro is a PhD student at Chair for CAAD, ETH Zürich, ETH in Zurich. His research focuses on sensing heterogeneous materials for digital fabrication. He is also investigating the influence of digital crafting on modern society. He was a visiting scholar at CoDe lab, Carnegie Mellon University, and worked at OMA and Vincent de Rijk werkplaats.
